Past Prediction is a collage mash-up of Athletic Model Guild shower images from the magazine Physique Pictorial and images of Greek and Roman sculptures found online. It was created as part of a series of drawings, collages and prints for the exhibition Change Room at The Container in Tokyo, Japan. The drawings and collages were presented on repeated silkscreen images of lockers. I was interested in counterpointing a grid structure with an entropic body as a way of measuring the persistence and transformation of masculinity over time.
